Proven business model and step by step process

A Day in the life of a Franchisee/Operator

Delivery times are from 11am to 9pm for a new location. A typical Operator will start their day at the office before the lunch shift starts making sure any large catering orders are sent to restaurants and drivers have been dispatched. Drivers and restaurants will handle deliveries while you coordinate daily marketing tasks (ad posts, Social media, Mail Drop, Canvassing, etc..). After lunch is the best time to meet with restaurants to coordinate marketing efforts, get updates on menu changes or sign up new partners. Before dinner shift starts (4:30pm) the Operator will make sure drivers are checked in and ready (via app) and either dispatch themselves or instruct their dispatcher on anything they need to know to have a successful shift. Driver checkout is done between 9pm & 10pm by the dispatcher. If the franchisee would like to be a passive owner, it can be arranged. ​​

8 to 10 Week Start Up Timeline

The process to get open and start generating sales 8 to 10 weeks. We have a week by week detailed task list that will keep you informed of what we are doing and what you need to do in order to get open. We do most of the key tasks like signing up restaurants, implementing the initial marketing blast and hiring drivers. Your job is to learn our system during training week, put it to practice at one of our locations, and then set up your office in preparation for success. And we always open with a bang!

Initial Investment

The initial capital investment required is $50,000 to $75,000. That includes franchise fee, training and support, initial equipment, initial marketing material and distribution, office set up and supplies and your second wave of marketing to boost sales even more. Another $10,000 to $25,000 is recommended to have on hand for continued marketing to bring in new customers, drive sales and increase profits.

Training and Support

1 week at Takeout Waiter University will give you the knowledge to be successful in this business, followed by 2 weeks of “boot camp” at an active service so you can see success in action. At boot camp, the franchisee masters technology-driven ordering and dispatching systems, as well as office and all aspects of operations and advertising. Followed by 1 week with a restaurant partnering pro to sign up restaurants in your territory, then 1 week in-territory during opening week with A Franchise Performance Coach. Ongoing coaching and support will be provided as needed.

The Takeout Waiter Business Model

The Takeout Waiter revenue model is a Win, Win, Win, Win. Starting with the customers, they win because they can get the food they want (Italian, Sushi, Burgers, BBQ, Mexican, Asian, Indian, etc…) delivered right to their door at normal menu prices plus a small fee ($4.99 avg) and tip. The Delivery Waiters or drivers are Independent Contractors that make most of the delivery fee and all of their tips. The job is laid back and lucrative. Restaurants are always looking for ways to grow business; especially sales they can’t get. We invest thousands into marketing to drive EXTRA delivery sales (Domino’s & China Wok money). We handle everything from advertising, to driver management, insurance and even credit card processing. All they do is make the food like any other takeout order. Considering their only extra cost for the our order is food, which is an industryaverage of 30%, that leave’s 70% extra profit (their labor and overhead are already paid). It’s a no brainer for them. Franchisee’s make money with multiple revenue streams. You get a commission from the restaurant (highest average in the nation), selling drink sales and other items that turn a high profit, a portion of the delivery fee goes to you and you make extra money from restaurants for doing extra marketing.
