Drivers are hired as independent contractors. You must have your own vehicle and auto insurance to work with Takeout Waiter and you must be 21 or older with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
Driver can make their own schedules and reserve the right to refuse any order. Dispatchers assign orders based on availability, experience and reliability.
Drivers earn a portion of the delivery fee plus gratuity from the customer. Tips average about 18% of the total food ticket and the average ticket is about $30.
All drivers are managed by a 3rd party driver management company, Restaurant Delivery USA Inc.
